Winning as a team requires sacrifice. It demands every player put aside their ego and dedicate themselves to winning as a team. Most personalities embrace the idea of team-first, until it’s time to put it into action. That is often much more difficult, especially when they misunderstand the role of cohosts.

Problems come about when ego gets in the way. A multiple-personality radio show can have only one host. When stations try to tag-team the role, it stalls growth.

But a host without cohosts becomes a solo show. Solo shows can be successful, but well-cast team shows have more opportunities for creating long-term engagement.
