Radio personalities have a habit of being rude. It’s not intentional, but personalities often come off as cold and distant at the beginning of talk segments and again at the end. Talent is so focused on taking the first exit that they often miss the best exit. Programmers teach programmers to end on a high note, but great moments are lost when a show hits a punchline and exits. The audience wonders why they stopped talking and walked away.
