Phone Call Execution Tactic: Frame The Caller

Let’s say your phone topic is gold. You’ve crafted a killer question. The lines are lit. You’ve got stories coming in. Mission accomplished, right? Not quite. A great caller doesn’t automatically make a great segment. Even a powerful story can fall flat if the callers are introduced the wrong way. Hosts should learn to frame the caller to fit the flow of the segment.

The way you set up each caller—before they even say a word—can make the difference between a fast-forward moment and a can’t-miss punchline.
