One of the most powerful gifts a Program Director can give a personality is permission to suck – at first. Doing anything great is supposed to suck at first. It’s not permission to be lazy, sloppy, or disinterested. But the freedom to push boundaries, take creative risks, and stretch beyond their comfort zones is the only path to breakthrough success. Growth doesn’t happen when personalities play it safe.
