Last Prize Standing is a great promotion that sounds a lot bigger than it actually is. It has aspects of The Last Contest, the classic KCBQ/San Diego promotion from the late 70s, which remains one of the greatest promotions in radio history.
There are many variations and names. Virgin 96 in Montreal called it Your Wildest Dreams. Other stations have called it Dream Week. Your name isn’t as important as the drama and imagination created in the execution.
