Question for Ask The Experts: I am a program director and oversee four stations in the cluster. I have two live morning shows. The other two are syndicated, thank God. I know it’s important to aircheck the shows, but I’m swamped. How often should I realistically meet with the personalities?
Answer: There’s no single answer to this question, but no matter how much you are currently meeting with the team, I can assure you it’s probably not as much as you should our could.
Everyone is busy, and I fully understand how overwhelmed programmers are and most personalities are just as busy. Having said that, few things are more important to the success of your station.
