Question for Ask The Experts: I watched your Local Content Additives seminar. It was great, but as you point out, some of the examples for best practices are longer than a tightly edited “only what needs to be there” version. My PD restricts our talk break time and is like a broken record repeating, “Keep it short.” How can I apply these concepts if there’s not enough talk time?
Answer: This one hits a nerve—and it’s an important conversation to have. Yes, time is tight. Yes, programmers want pace. But if we’re not careful, we’ll edit all the personality right out of the station.
