Question for Ask The Experts: I watched The Harvest Your Life seminar on demand and also read your article Living My Life as Prep is a Trap. Now I’m confused. Which is it? Should I be talking about my life on the air or not?
Answer: Great question—and the answer is: both are true, but there’s a critical distinction. Your life is an incredible source of inspiration, but it’s not automatically content. Mining your day-to-day experiences, opinions, and observations is how you uncover the gold. But like any raw material, it needs refinement. A funny moment from your morning routine isn’t content until it’s been curated, shaped, and delivered in a way that makes it resonate outwardly to the listener.
