
Lips on Marathon is a fun stunt that will get press coverage and could result in some really big publicity. I’ve done it a couple of times and it always gets a lot of attention, if it’s staged properly. And, it’s perfect for Valentine’s Day.
It’s best to hold it at a public location, though this adds some complexity to the logistics. Still, you want publicity, and it’s easier to get when it’s in public, right? Some stations have tried this at an individual store or a car dealer showroom. It still works, but the venue is important in staging this promotion properly.
