Fix Music Research Response Rates: The Feedback Loop

Over the years, online music research has prospered. It’s now accepted as an effective, affordable method of gathering data, and programmers use the information to make critical decisions. But response rates have plummeted in recent years. It’s time to fix that, and one of the most effective methods is simply completing the feedback loop.

When a user takes a survey and submits their opinion, most of the time, nothing happens. Engagement ends. Few stations follow up or even send an email to say thank you. As a result, listeners aren’t convinced their response was considered or mattered.

That’s missing an opportunity. Plus, it isn’t nice!
