How To Get A Cohost To Stop Rushing To The End Of the Story

Question for Ask The Experts: I’ve been working with my current cohost for several years. We get along great, and have a terrific chemistry. There’s really just one problem. The cohost has a strong point of view on every topic but as soon as we launch a discussion, it feels like we’re rushing to the end of the story. How can I slow it down and extract more entertainment value out of the conversation?

Answer: This is a common problem for many shows. Many personalities, especially those who have a strong opinion and quick wit, have the gift of fast reaction times. That’s a strength, but it’s also a great weakness that needs to be addressed. There are three main points to fix this challenge.
