Have you ever thought you were doing a great job, and the company as happy as can be, only to discover they were terribly disappointed? This is the worst possible surprise in the workplace. The problem is usually a misunderstanding that comes from not setting expectations. Communication between management and on-air performers is a fundamental ingredient for success. Many, if not most, personnel issues can be avoided simply by setting expectations and mutual goals.
