Imagine there are two stacks of prizes. You have won a contest and will have your choice of anything you want from either of the two stacks. But before going through the prizes, first you have to choose a stack. In this wonderful, imaginary scenario, one stack of prizes is very small, just a few inches high. But the other is three times as high. There are clearly far more prizes to choose from in one of the stacks. Which is the best choice? The larger the stack, the greater the chance of finding something more appealing, right? It’s the same with a stack tease.

The more reasons listeners are offered to remember to tune in or come back, the greater the chance they’ll give you another tune in occasion or two. Seems logical, right?
