Stop Doing Interviews. Start Having Conversations

Conversation seems to be a lost art. It is defined as an “informal interchange of thoughts, information, opinions, or ideas.” The crucial part of a fluid conversation is interaction, and that is where interviews often fail. The natural tendency is to ask a list of questions and wait for an answer. That’s an interview, right? But that’s boring. Once an interview has gotten off to a fast start, stop thinking of it as an interview. Start having conversations.
