Fix Your Show In 30 Days Playbook

Fix Your Show: Week 1: Stop Guessing Get Clarity

You do not need a $30,000 auditorium test or hard-to-recruit focus groups to fix your show. You need clarity so you can stop guessing. Most shows don’t have a research problem. They have an assumption problem.

They believe they know what the audience wants, why listeners tune in, and what everyone is talking about. Based on what? Gut, usually. Or phones. This step is about replacing opinions with evidence.

If you have research, that’s great. Refer to it. If you have surveys and polls, take those into account as well. Ratings? Yeah, that’s relevant, but only to a point. Ratings are a report card, not a path forward.

In this step, you’re going to dig deep and focus on real listener behavior.

You have 90 minutes to complete this step. No more.
