The goal of a promotion is to activate meter carriers/diary respondents and drive ratings. And those are exactly the people who play contests. You may call them Prize Pigs (or another suitably appropriate name), but these folks have a disproportionate influence on ratings. The problem is some radio stations have this odd policy of only allowing listeners to win a prize once every 30 (and in some cases 60) days. Stop restricting winners! Here’s why.
