Have you ever been around someone who is so compelling that you want them to keep telling stories or jokes? They command the room, and suddenly you say, “Tell me another story,” or “Tell me more,” or “What happened next?” This can be a powerful technique to shift the emphasis from “Listen to me talk” to “Okay, I’ll do it because you asked.” The Tell Me More technique should be used more by team shows, but some solo shows can make it work, too.
