Remember journalism school? When they drilled the Five W’s into your head like gospel? You were probably taught that “Who, What, When, Where, and Why” is the key to a successful news story. But unless you’re a station specializing in breaking news or a fulltime news station, the five Ws are killing your information segments. That goes for entertainment reports, sports, and trending/lifestyle features.
