The “The Last Word” improv game is a conversational exercise where players use the last word of their partner’s sentence as the first word of their response. This game fosters active listening and sequential thinking because it’s impossible to plan what you’re about to say until it’s your turn to speak. This adds tremendous value for shows to learn to have more interesting dialogue.
There is also a radio game of the same name, and this game can be fun to use as a variation for the radio game.
