The Real Competition Is Not Other Stations

Programmers and managers spend sleepless nights tossing and turning, plotting programming enhancements to counteract moves made by other radio stations to capture listener attention. And you know what? Most of that energy is wasted. The real competition is not other radio stations. It does little good to worry about what’s happening with other stations. Stay aware, of course, but they are not the real competition.
