Some callers sound good but should not be on the air because they have nothing to contribute to the conversation. Others may have a good point, but it would take the topic on a detour, and that can be a segment killer. Then there are those who have a great story┬ábut can’t tell it well. When screening callers, identify what they have to say and make sure it fits the narrative on the air.
