Radio stations were filled with hubris and hype once upon a time (70s and 80s). That was a different era that supported the hot-rockin’, flame-throwin’ attitude. Times have changed, but some radio stations have not. Celebrating winners is good advice, but do it right. It’s still common to hear a radio contest awarding a prize to listeners and finishing the segment with an arrogant finish asking, “Who made you a winner?”. Could you stop it? Now? Please?
