I’m not sure if this is a benchmark, promotion or a daily feature, but Listener of the Day is a nice addition for radio personalities.

The idea isn’t new. Radio stations used to do Office Assistant of the Day or Teacher of the Day years ago. Then we stopped, mostly because it seemed dated. Isolating an individual wasn’t considered mass appeal enough.

Times have changed. Again. And what was once a very popular thing is relevant once again. This benchmark is a solid building block to increase your show’s fan base.
